wheel spacers vs. slightly larger tires

Read up on wheel spacers and potential rub points up front...does anyone have experience (and pics) of the next size tire on a stock (no spacers) rim? I currently have stock 265/70/17 on a 2011 SR5 and think maybe a more aggressive tread on a 275/70/17 might give me the wider look without the spacer rub issues. Thanks for any help

i dont think you will get the same look with a wider tire... there would be no way to accomplish the same thing unless you got a tire that was 2.5" wider than stock... at that point it wouldnt fit on the stock rim, and if it did it would look ridiculous.

I say go with the spidertrax or G2 1.25" wheel spacers, do the liner mod and trim the mud flaps in you have them...not only will they be MUCH cheaper than new tires, it will look better IMO.
