Yes. Higher isn’t the issue. As I stated in my previous post it is probably the fender liner. I had 275’s on my Pro without a lift without any clearance issues.

What size tires? Any change to the suspension?

Love the ride and handles very well... Still considering going 285/70/17 with C rated K02s or the new Wildpeaks.
NICE looking rig. Mind me asking which lift kit you used? Specs?

No removal of the mud flaps, no rubbing at full articulation or frame cutting required. 275 BFG KO2s.
Dude, you copied Tejas and now I'm gonna do the same. Looks great. I'll probably wait though, eibach is supposed to have a kit that will work on the fox suspension on the 20s

Thx
I'm running Bilstein 5100's with Old Man Emu coils (med), they're closer to 2" in the rear than 1.5"..

I ran both the Coopers and Falken A/T3Ws on my Tundra. Very similar in terms of on road handling, noise, and comfort. Slight difference in economy but that was less than a 1/2 mpg for the same size tire. Of course the Tundra had much larger tires.

The biggest difference was offroad and in snow/ice. The Falkens were noticeably better in both areas and especially on winter roads. So much better traction! If you live in a winter area with snow and ice on the roads for 5-6 months of the year as I do then the Falkens are the clear winner. That goes for any mud terrain or AT tire I can think of and I have had everything from Toyos to BFGs, Nittos, Coopers, and Falkens. If you daily drive in the snow and want to have a summer set and a winter set then a studdless snow tire like Blizzaks is the only way to beat the Falken A/T3Ws IMO.

Of course I had all those on my Tundra which has all the power in the world. Has anyone tired the Falkens long term on a 4runner? Picking my first T4R up tomorrow and I needs to know.

Just bumped up to 275/70/17s a couple weeks ago. Going to do a leveling kit next because there is a very slight rub at full lock to the right. I ended up doing E rated tires against my better judgement, because they were cheaper than C by a significant margin when I was tire shopping, and since I primarily drive out in the California desert where there are very pointy rocks and almost everyone I wheel with gets two flats every trip I figure it couldn't hurt to experiment with a tougher sidewall.
