That looks great, looks 100% level? Which notch is 1.75"? Third notch of the four?

One point that wasn't really discussed was the potentially harsher ride with E rated tires. Our 4runners are light compared to the F350 or F250 trucks (not sure) that the 275 BFGs come standard on. I have run C rated druratracs (265) and loved them but was looking for something bigger. Currently I'm running the BFGs in 275 (E rated). The E rated BFGs do have a harsher ride versus the C rated duratracs.

Honestly since I do zero towing and don't have the access to real offroading (where sidewall protection is needed) I am thinking of going back to a lower load range to help out the ride quality.

What have others experienced?

Sorry for the tread hijack OP!

285/75/17 for the Tundra

I'll be putting 265/KO on the 4 Runner, 275 look great just a little to heavy for me.

Toyo site, only the Canadian site has the extreme specs for some reason.

ok, so I went with the cooper C rated. So far so good, ride quality feels great and I think they look pretty slick!

What air pressure did you end up going with for the Cooper A/T3's?

I know...

I understand this thread is about 275 tire size however, I have to say I am very impressed with 265 70 17 Cooper ATP's after back and forth drive to Orlando. Mileage did not change and averaged about 19.5 MPG highway. Very very slight hum at hight speeds but really smooth ride. If anyone is on the fence about weight then I would jump on the 265''s. Just my 2 cents and what I have experienced thus far. 275's are really nice for those of you that have them and to each his own and purpose.

thanks, i will try 40 PSI if it is not already set in my C rated AT3's.

You know, now that I am looking at the car more...it seems that one inch level kit from Daystar would be a good idea; as I am noticing the rake alot more.

Those of you with the 275 AT3s, do you guys have any problems with them balancing? I've been to Discount like 3 or 4 times to get the rebalanced because of the wobble in the steering wheel during breaking and freeway speeds.

28Fiend,

I noticed my tires would flat spot easily and would wobble on the freeway after sitting for a day or two.It would go away after driving a few miles. The problem went away after i filled them to 40psi. No more wobble due to flat spotting. just my .02
