Silver 2014 Trail Edition
Hi all.
My 2014 TE is about to arrive off the boat in BC this June 1st. Are there any accessories that I should look at getting installed while its getting prepped at the dealership?
BTW I have been a long time 4runner fan. I have known some you from days of VMag, Yotatech and the early stages of T4R. I am also a member of BC 4runners on Facebook.
I don't plan on doing too much to the new runner. Maybe some black 6-Shooters wheels or BFD wheels. Or I just might just plastic dip the stock ones. I think the runner is quite capable in stock form for what I use it for.
Mrs. T is also quite adamant that I don't modify it like my prior trucks. She's making me sign a contract. No loud exhaust and lift this time around.

Oh what the fun if you cant mod it. But congrats, I had a 1998 runner, the 5th is so much bigger and nicer. Maybe you could slip on some 5100's and level the front end. Plus will ride nicer.

You're RokToy from the Yototech day's? I remember you had a gold runner all done up.
Haha...Most likely I'll add the Bilsteins when I switch the tires out. She won't notice the difference much then.

Not sure, could have been me. I was on a few forums back then. But I did have a desert dune 4runner with 3" lift and 33's.
Here she is, still think the 3rd gen was one of the best looking SUV's ever made.

Tell me the kid hanging off the back of the truck in Pic 1 is Photo Shopped. Or, at the very least, the rear wheel spin, while trail climbing, with a kid on the back, is Photo Shopped.
Or...tell me you aren't that stupid.

Ha. Looks like he's probably standing off to the side there... Shoes on the ground. Though it does look a tad shopped too... It's a weird shot.

GRIMACE your new Trail model has bumpers constructed to allow a much better approach / departure angle, so not having a lift is not nearly as critical as it was in your other T4R's.

That's my buddy. He was about 8 ft away from the truck. The worst spotter ever.

Looking good with the rims, nice collection of 4runners as well. IMO the 3rd gen is one of the greatest looking SUV's of all time.

Did anyone else notice in the first pic this guy looks an awful lot like Chewbacca from the side?
Nice Silver TE. The '14+ Silver TE's are my second favourite looking 5th Gen.
