Those with Metal Tech long travel rear

I heave received my shocks from Radflo for my Metal Tech long travel kit. I believe the shock length should be around 27-28 inches at the extended length. I have measured from the top of the shock(not the mounting pin) and it's measuring 24 inches. I am a but concerned. Any input is always appreciated.

Edit: Spoke with Metal Tech and they had called Radflo. Got a call back from Wade from Metal Tech and he said he contacted Mike at Radflo and that Mike would be contacting me and if I haven't heard from him either today or tomorrow to call them back and Metal Tech will sort it out further. In that time I had received the email from Mike at Radflo. He apologized for the mix up and he was having someone build the new shocks at that moment. Apparently Radflo has two different extended lengths for this application, a 1" and 5" length. They built the wrong ones for me. A return shipping label will be sent with the correct shocks so I can send back the wrong ones I have received.

Did you call metaltech and ask them? Mine is at the shop getting installed right now so I have no way to check mine out and I doubt they measured anyway... Might be right that it is 28" of suspension travel because the shocks are on pivot points so total extension might not be the same as suspension travel. Just a though... I'd call if I was in doubt or perhaps someone else here can shed some intelligent light!

Mine had to be built at Radflo when I ordered. I did just get off of the phone with Wade. He said it should be 28.5" extended length. He is calling Radflo as we speak.

I'm a 3rd gen guy, but I'll jump in and say I think you got the wrong shocks. The regular Bilstein 5100's are 23.5" extended. I'd guess you're correct that the shocks metal tech has made by icon are a couple inches longer than 24".

Besides the shock body this length looks like my current Radflo 2.0".
