Absolutely NOT OK. A brake pedal going to the floor is a potentially fatal issue. You need to elevate this with your dealer. You need to be clear you are not talking about the whoosh sound at a the front o f the pedal press, but a pedal going to the floor. It should not do that ever, unless you are bleeding the brakes.

If it actually touches the floor then something is definitely wrong and needs immediate attention. My pedal is “squishy” but I’ve grown so used to it I don’t notice it and find my brakes are really quite excellent. I had a panic stop at 65 mph once and was quite impressed as to how fast and straight I was able to come to a complete stop and no tire squeal. If I jammed my foot down as hard as I could I suppose I may get the pedal closer to the floor but doubtful it would touch. In a worse case scenario I would not see a need to push that hard.

I don't notice it as much on mine now after switching to Brembo pads. Far better pedal feel and less pedal travel too. I mean it still makes the sound but it stops actually stopping before I hear it. I can't say the truck actually stops better but it sure feels better.

I tried the multi quote function, but it doesnt seem to be working for me.

Well after dealing with Toyota and going back the a different dealer, they still say nothing is wrong at it is working as it should. Yet at a stop light I can still get the pedal to the floor with extra force. Between this and my jacked up oil change on the last service, as well as my 2018 Tacoma issues, I am really loosing faith in Toyota service and quality.

I have multiple vehicles where I can push the pedal to the stop if I press on it harder than I ever would to brake while not in motion. My 4Runner does the same thing. If you use up all the travel while actively trying to stop that’s an issue, while at a stop with higher than normal pressure is a non issue. Your ABS would be kicking in long before you get there, which I’ve tested on mine lol.
