Bass Rattling Rear Window
Anyone else experience this? Any easy fixes? Tried searching but only found threads about the 3rd gen specifically.

I would take the trim panel off and put some sound deadening on the rear hatch

Meh, live with tinnitus for a little while and you'll do everything you can to preserve your remaining hearing. 1000W subs were really cool in high school, definitely paying the price though in my 30's

On mine it's the license plate that rattles. I don't get any rattle from inside the door but I can hear the plate from both the inside and the outside.

Sounds like it may be time to get rid of those 'Plastic' factory speakers and drop-in some Full range 'Pro-drivers!

I have terrible tinnitus from the Army and from having systems in my vehicles in my teens and 20's. I still enjoy listening to music without ALL treble. In my mid 30's as well. Do you do anything for the tinnitus?

I'm having similar issues, last night I couldn't get my ear drum to stop twitching during a thunder storm, and my gf always *****es at me that the music is too loud and that I'm half deaf.... Subs and rock concerts have done their damage over the years :oldman:

i don't really do anything special other than a lot of white noise machines and fans. Sometimes i'll also use ear plugs, it obviously can't block a sound inside your head but they make a different noise when you move that for me at least can sometimes make me not focus on the tinnitus sound.
oh, also try this technique, when i notice my tinnitus being distracting this gives me temporary relief that usually is enough for me to stop focusing on it

I've been able to deal with it for the most part so far. It would be great to completely eliminate it, but then I'd probably be bummed out that it isn't there anymore since I've grown so accustomed to it.
