I have a set on mine - much more useful than the factory units alone

I have these on my 3rd gen, put them on the bottom outside corner of each mirror and they're great plus they have an oem look to them and look a lot better than the round ones IMO.

Let me know how that works out when you are backing up with a stump on one side and a ravine on the other lol. Those little mirrors are great for other things besides traffic. The method you posted is the way mine are always adjusted though with the added side and downward vision a convex mirror can give you.

works great since I don't do that

and if I did, I would have a spotter, since I would have no clue why I was in such a situation or what I should do.

Yes!

I put them on all my vehicles, including my Mercedes coupe.

Can't beat them when driving in traffic...

In the immortal words of Ferrari driver Franco (Raul Julia) in the movie The Gumball Rally, "What'sa behind me does not matter!".

Otherwise I use the NoDak method.

Let me know how those little mirrors work when you're sliding backwards on ice down a hill with trees on either side

I've actually been in situations similar to the stump on one side and ravine on the other. All I do is adjust my side mirrors to point downwards enough to see the ground behind me.

Is this comment tongue and cheek or are you just being a misogynist prick? I mean, I always knew certain of the locals in NY were prickish, but I didn't know their heads were completely up their a**. This person asks a legitimate question and you go out of your way to spew this crap. Unbelievable.

Yeah, me too! For two bucks (total!) you ought to try a few. Come right off with fishing line if you don't like them. Cool part is they give you a wide angle so you can see lots of area beside your truck at low speed. Cheapest fisheye lens you can buy!
