FJC Steelies

I am looking to buy a set of 4 FJC steelies for my 13 Trail to put on studded winter tires once the snow and ice come back. Last year's winter kinda caught us off guard.

Do they need different lugs than those that come with the TE wheels?

A couple of years ago I fitted some FJC steelies onto my Trail, just to see what they looked like. I drove it about 10 miles or so like this, used the stock Trail lugs and it worked fine.

That looks good, I'll make a plan on reusing them.

The FJC lugs are expensive, and I don't want to buy them if I don't have to.

The steel wheels require an acorn style lug nut.

I bought a set of steelies off eBay - always used the stock lugs.

Have you put a WTB on the FJ forums?

I'm probably just going to buy them from one of the local 4x4 shops, people are replacing their FJ steelies with better wheels pretty commonly. I was offered 30 bucks per wheel for a set of 3 (the 4th was pretty badly rusted).
