$500 to spend/put towards...

Have a gft card from my previous employer still burning a hole in my pocket. Caught wind of the Bud Built sliders promo (free shipping) or UCA's (thinking Camburgs).

Sadly its been about 90/10 On road/off as of late, but figure the Pros cons are

UCAs: Dial in my suspension for the recommended 4 degrees of caster.

Budbuilt: Trail Protection, Door ding protection, and something for the kiddo to use to eventually climb on before hopping in the truck.

you answered your own question. 90/10 = UCAs. improve handling. If you dont go off road what is the need for sliders other than looks and added weight to kill MPGs?

OR

If your suspension functions fine as is (As Duca said you have 265s).... BEER and a hooker!

You'll get more use out of the bud built equipment especially for the kid and door ding protection. To me, this is a no brainer.

Haha Stifler! I would want to know what the alignment specs are prior to UCAs. It may not be enough of an improvement.

If you live that close to Hidden Falls I'd go with the sliders.

I personally went with UCAs to ensure I could get the caster right for 285s. If it drives fine without them, and the specs are okay, why worry? Get the sliders.

I think we have the same lift with the exception of UCAs. If you want to drive one with them to compare, let me know, I'm happy to volunteer my rig. (BTW...Ryan said I just missed you at the truck show last night.)

Forgive my ignorance, but what are UCAs and what do they do?
