Apparently, we like the seats

JD Power study ranks 4R seats at the top.

I guess 6'4" does not qualify for tall? My seats fit fine and are comfortable for 11+ hour drives. I'm pretty sure tall or short does not matter as much as the individual's needs lol. With that said, short people fit everywhere better.

I am 5'8" and they fit me great. The '14 is much better than the '12 and now has both heating and cooling.

Doesn't the graph indicate that the T4R has more problems per 100 vehicles than the others listed? That being said, I still like my seats.

Tall yea. Im 6'7. Headrest too low and weird ridge at top of seat dig into spine. Have a bit of a workaround for now. It will probably break in.

Im.tempted to notch the headrest post. But headrests are $350 to replace and I'm nervous of messing with a safety feature.

Also tempted to shave the seat foam.

Yes, lower is better in that quality graph. So apparently the seats break somewhat often. There is no statement on actual approval or comfort opinion of the seat.

No, we like the seats ok. We just like the seats in the Sequoia and Pilot better.

Trying to figure out if these will bolt in.

My 13 LE seats are my least favorite thing about the vehicle. Difficult to stay comfortable on any trip more than 2-3 hours. Seats in my LX470? Like a Heavenly Mattress!

+1

My '14 LE... the drivers seat pushes into my lower back below the adjustable lumbar area, and it's somewhat uncomfortable on longer trips. Fortunately, I've either become used to it now, or the seat foam is finally softening up a bit as it doesn't bother me as much as it did when the 4R was new.

You guys just must all be old with bad backs.

jk. But I am 6'2 and have had no issues with my '14 Trail seats. Just got back from a 10 hour trip.

I'm 6'4. Seats are fine but headroom isn't great. I don't have a long torso either, or a fat rear , but if I sit up straight my head touches the roof edge around the sunroof.
