Valet curbed my rear bumper on my 2 week old 14 LE.

Found out the day after, how would you proceed? I'm assuming they will not own up to it.

the minute you accepted the vehicle and drove away you you cleared them of wrong doing unless you have a witness or video evidence. A valet wrecked my wifes 2 week old lexus and tried to give us a card and say just call this number and they will take care of it... MY ASS! I file a complaint with the establishment and refused to move my vehicle until the valet owner showed up. Cops wont do shit because if there is a valet it is most likely private property. Even after all that it was a fight to get paid.... but I did

Find out if they have security tapes. If so, ask them to "fess up". If that doesn't work, call your insurance company and tell them what happened. If no evidence exists, than you have to decide whether or not it's worth reporting to insurance. It sucks either way. Sorry.

This is why I would be very hesitant to use valet... I have never been to an event/dinner/etc. that I wasn't able to park and walk to with my wife.

I don't even like turning the keys over to my Toyota service department, and I never accept the free car wash.

Sorry for your troubles.
Nobody drives or parks my 4runner but ME. End of story. I would never use a valet. No Way, No How!

If you are asking them for their security tapes, you might not want to let them know you are trying to prove they damaged your vehicle.

Might be worthwhile to pretend you got something stolen if you are going to ask for tapes.

bummer, I do not think they will own up to it unless you have solid proof, time for a new rear metal bumper?

thanks for all the help guys. just got an estimate, $300 to repaint the whole rear bumper. i work at toyota so they're giving me a "deal". but the top black portion of the bumper is not going to look perfect as they would need to tape it off and paint.
