Pics of Nautical Blue with aftermarket wheels?

I've been looking at 50 different sets of wheels per day for the past 2 weeks and can't decide what I really like. There are some in dark grey or black that I like, but don't know how they'll look on the dark blue. I really like the TRD wheels but they only come in dark grey or black. Just looking for some ideas if any of you have some.

I personally like the dark grey with the blue. Unique and classy.

Machined silvers and greys look good on the Nautical Blue. Blacks looks ok but not a fan of chrome on that color. You obviously know my choice. ;) ^^^

I was just about to post on this topic.

I just purchased a new Nautical Blue 2014 4Runner SR5 Premium and am trying to decide which wheels I'd like to purchase for her.

The Nautical Blue color seems rare in this forum .. therefore .. I'm interested to see if any other members have seen pictures or could reference any with aftermarket tires/wheels.

Thanks for starting this post!

I have a nautical blue one, all stock, but I could not envision any wheel color other than grey or black if I were to get new wheels. Maybe the machined silver, but not chrome or polished aluminum.

Yeah, that does look good. I think I will order these. What tires are these and did you lift yours? I want the meaty tires, but I don't want to lift it. Thanks!

I think bronze looks great with the blue. Not a 4Runner but didn't have much time to search.

Agree. That is a great combination - esp. with the tiny touch of red in the trd logo.

@Warpath I'd sure paint that front lip to match the wheels.

275/70/r17s. In the picture it is not lifted but it is now. With that size there is some rubbing at full turn.

I thought about it but a couple different shades of color looks good.

I would just do a Google search of a blue car with aftermarket wheels and see what is out there. I have a nautical blue trail and when I get wheels I will probably go with a black chrome or something to that effect. Personally do not like black wheels. Gold and bronze would remind me to much of a subaru thing.

A couple of the wheel sites allow you to see what their wheels look like on your (or similar) vehicle.

Tire Rack and Black Rhino both have something like this.

I've been looking at wheels for mine also. So far, in no particular order, the ones that appeal to me are:

Toyota TRD wheels in gray
Stealth 6's in gunmetal
Black Rhino Sidewinders in matte black.

I wasn't really considering black until I saw the sidewinders on @Mistaken 's.

I'm also on the fence as to what size but I'm leaning towards changing to 17x8's. If I'm going to changes wheels, I should probably get ones that give a good choice and availability in tires.

I did do some work photoshopping the Stealth's onto one of my pictures, but lost it before I saved it.

I dig the grey TRD wheels on the blue, great combo! I do think the sidewinders look better in the larger sizes such as 19"+ and not so much in the 17-18" size. I would do the TRD wheels on that blue.

Ok, I was inspired. Now if only I was skilled at image manipulation... Here's mine with the three different wheels overlayed.

With the TRD Pro wheels (gray)

With the Stealth 6 wheels

With the Sidewinder wheels

This is over the stock 20" wheels so less rubber than what would be there with 17's. I really need a picture with the stock wheels removed so it looks right behind the rims too. I tried to clone the background in on the one and you can see how "good" that turned out. And looking at this just makes me want new tires even more!
