HELP! Tire issue Rubbing
I just got my 285/70/17 with MK6 -12mm offsets installed. Im having major rubbing issues. I have a 2014 limited. I cut the back part of the wheel well off (the part holding the "mud flap') and I'm getting rubbing in the front and the tire hits the metal (too dark and tired to investigate more tonight). Also, these are Terra Grapplers. Any help appreciated.

What metal is it hitting? And you'll need to do this.

How much lift did you add? Just installed same tires, no additional offset . . . No problems.

I'm guessing you are rubbing the front liner and body mount? Moving the liner forward is easy and then you may need a body mount chop.

I just installed 285-70/17 terra grapplers installed and had to remove the front mud flaps and move the fender liners forward. I still have to trim the drivers side part of the bumper in the fender well. That's the only part I have any issues still. I have a 2.5" lift and method nv 17x8.5" wheels with 4.5 back spacing. Hope this helps

Here's hoping you've got at least a couple inches of lift under your truck and upper control arms that will allow you to put some extra caster into your alignment.

Ok so heres an update. Im mainly rubbing the metal from the wheel well on the back side where it wraps around. Im going to attach pics. I measured from the middle of the wheel to the bottom of the wheel well and I'm at 23" now. It is rubbing rubber though and its just on regular roads. Toytec thinks they may have done the alignment wrong with the LR UCA's.

Limited must have different set-up. My Trail with KDSS has no rub with those tires only slight plastic chirp while reversing and wheels at fool lock. Nothing major. Sry for all your troubles.

What is your caster set at? Going to have to cut the body mount, anyway.

You shouldn't need a BMC with the 33" tires and correct offset wheels you have. I'm with Toytec that the LR UCA's were set up wrong. Probably set them up at the -2 setting or more instead of 0 to begin with. That would push the wheel back as a starting point . They already have -2 built in at zero.
SPC logo should face outward!Let's see pics of the the LR's

I think the only width those wheels are available in -12 offset is 9". If so, a 9" wide -12 offset wheel is pretty aggressive. You would rub a bit more than someone with a 8" 0 offset or 8" -10 offset wheel would.
