2010 Mag Grey wheels & tires question

I've been holding off on this upgrade until I actually needed new tires, and I do, so now I'm prepping to buy. I was inspired by Alex's mods here: Wheel size and offset for 255/80/17 Tires? and plan to do something very similar. I have two questions:

1) Does anyone have opinions or pics of bronze wheels on grey 4runners? I like the Countersteer X a lot, but don't want black wheels.

2) I'm not inclined to spend money on a full lift at the same time as the wheel/tire purchase, so whaddya y'all think about a cheap spacer lift for the time being, just to accommodate the bigger tires & wider wheels for a couple months before I upgrade the suspension (probably Toytec Boss kit)?

so you are going to spend money just to turn around and spend money on the same thing? do it once, do it right. spacers will give you ebola

Because I need tires *now* and one is $300 and the other is $1300? Because a lift of some kind is mandatory to upgrade to 255/80-17 tires? If money grows on trees in your yard, please feel free to harvest some and send it my way.
