convince me 2nd gen highlander limited for new runner sr5 premium
Have been out of the game awhile but contemplating this move. Limited highlander has all bells/whistles and great ride but I want a change. I do not want to pay the extra for the 4runner limited with the 20' wheels etc and the premium has what i need. I did find the stereo in the sr5 premium sounds better than the jbl in highlander.
Any thoughts?

Thoughts
I wouldn't choose a vehicle for it's stereo personally, rather look at the 2 vehicles being compared, mainly what you don't like about each. Then determine which would make you happy, with the least amount of $$/changes. That'd be the way i'd look at it.

The 1999-2000 4Runner had a model called the "Highlander" just as there was the Limited and SR5 model.
***Oops, I though the OP was initially talking about the 4Runner Highlander pkg!!! Guess he's just talking about the regular Highlander lol

You're confusing the Highlander with the 4Runner Highlander model. They're not the same thing.

If you even have to ask the 4Runner isn't for you.
Most that need to choose between the two wind up complaining about the throttle response, brake dive, no rear hatch closer, and all that crap.
Get the Highlander and call it a day.

Limited Toyotas tend to have really nice interiors.
Does the SR5 Premium have the same kind of interior as a Limited 4Runner or Highlander?
