First 2020 installed. Some minor issues and adjustments on my end. Learning to solder, be comfortable in tight spaces, and learn what a t-harness is! Steve was pretty much the best tech support you can imagine. Even when I made the rookie mistake, he was forgiving and took it with stride.
Remote start works, door opens shut down is still in effect. Security system checked off. Plenty of options, definitely worth the time and effort of installing it yourself and understanding how the wiring system works.
Those with the 2020s, understand that you’ll need to get intimate with your 4runner.
Thanks Steve once again, you’re the best.

I'm still rocking your original CompuStar T11 kit with the 2WT11R-SS remote.

Wow 6 years.
Update new t13 system is out. 2021s are covered. My system is not plug and play for 20/21. But is more robust than the other guys.

Hey Steve i’m having an issue i tried calling the number i had for you but seemed to not go through,
my system appears to think that the doors are open even though i verified that all the door jamb switches are workingand everything closed correctly. it still lets me remote start, arm and unarm the system but i feel like somethings going on here i got this system last winter and it has been great until this week.
i got the t12 pro with drone mobile (which also shows door being open)

Yep! No plans to get rid of my 2015 4Runner.
I'll shoot you an email to see what the cost is to upgrade the system and what the benefits are.

Just installed my remote start system from Steve. It is actually a pretty straight-forward install on my 2016. Drone mobile works great! I love my remote start. Too bad it took me 5 years to put it on. Thanks again Steve!

Actually no. Never got this damn thing working. It's frustrating as hell. Neighbors all hate me.
