So $395 gets you 1.5" of additional travel....

Now the question is is how much more articulation do these trucks have with non kdss LT setup, when compared to a KDSS truck with Sonorans track bar? Is it worth the effort and cost?

This is literally the last question I need answered before I can start ordering parts.

Anyone else running a LT KDSS truck that can shed some light?

Bump Bump Bumpiddy Bump... Bump

Did you end up going LT? Did the icon bar work for you? Care to share your setup for the thread. Still loads of people trying to figure out solutions.

I like this guys solution even though it does involve welding.

Before you endorse it, someone will need to weld it on and cycle the bar through it. My guess it that it is going to hit in different areas but still hit.

Keep in mind I have moved parts of my bar 2" forward or back from the center line. I personally do not see this working but applaud you for welding the parts on your vehicle and giving it a try.

This doesn’t move it off the centerline. It just moves it up and you can look there is nothing there.

Though my car is a LC150 Prado KDSS model instead of 4Runner Trail, but the suspension is almost the same except for using air bags instead of springs in the rear.

I did my 2” lift with KDSS pads designed by myself. By lowering the sway bar, I think it will have better articulation for off-roads, and better sway bar angle for on-roads.

it's wild that a decade into the 5th Gen the "KDSS spacer solution" suddenly seems to spring to life... Maximize your KDSS + extended travel shocks

i'm interested to learn more about how these solutions are working in the field.

welcome to the forum, @ytsejam . a fine contribution for only your 3rd post!
