Just wanted to do a little write about my road trip from Colorado to California and eventually back to Colorado (visting family and friends)
Bike rack is the Swagman Jackknife 4. There is significant wind noise with this baby! Bike rack is built very solid and have used a quite a bunch. No movement and no frame contact between bike and rack. By the time I reached California I was averaging about 16.6 MPG. Using between 87-91 Gas, 70-85+ MPH. Bike rack played a big role in this no doubt.
Worked well sleeping inside even though I am 6'2!
While in Cali I was wheeling out to a bonfire on my friends property. Been off roading at his place for years. A few downed trees had some branch's and one caught my driver side rear fender flare just perfect. You can see it missing in this picture.
That picture is in Colorado down Schubarth trail. Anyways I have since put the fender back on using this and it is working so far. (Not all clips were broken)
The rest of these pictures are mostly from the Schubarth trail area! Enjoy
And the last thing I want to say is that the Smittybilt Element Ramps have already gotten myself out of two stuck situations( both in the snow and on a very steep hill) Another saved my from sliding into a rock..I used both in front of rear tire to prevent sliding here. Best 150$ I could of spent. Also used them in wet dirt/ mud in California getting my buddy's Taco unstuck. Hard to see this picture.
Good times
