Does anyone pay for additional parts insurance? Anyone not pay extra and had an accident and tried to make a claim for aftermarket parts? I've already got a couple grand in the car with lift/wheels/tires and have plans for more. I'd hate to get in a serious accident and be SOL when the insurance co comes to pay out for things.
Also, if people don't mind me asking, what are you currently paying for insurance coverage and with who? Right now I am paying about $150/month in auto coverage. 25 y/o male, very clean history, no wrecks or speeding tickets in the last 7+ years. I like to think I should be able to cut that to about 70-80 bucks a month from the few quotes I've seen.
let me know what you guys think.

Ask your provider. See if they pay for whats actually on the car or based off of stock value. Maybe there is an option to choose. Might be as simple and making sure that if you have a maximum payout, that it's high enough to cover everything.
