Here's an update with Solar Gard 30% in the sides and 75% front windshield and 45% on the sunroof.
side profile
And yes it's screaming for a GOBI rack!!!! But sadly it's not in the budget this month
Today I looked and found out my passenger side is 37.25" while driver side was 38.25"
So I cranked up the passenger side gave it a little more pre-load and raised it to 38.25" on both sides.
I have an appointment with JC Alignments on Monday to get some real caster and adjust my rear link so my rear axle is straight...
What height do you guys have you fronts with your 3" lifts and 285/70r17 tires ???

I already have a set of Metal Tech Sliders coming...
Next Mod on the List : ( which one would you go with)... leaning to the gears cuz I'm getting hooked up on labor.
Option 1 = 4.56 gears & BCM
Option 2 = Gobi Stealth Rack
Option 3 = Full Steel Skids & BCM
Option 4 = Front Bumper & BCM

My Metal Tech Stage 2 Sliders came in today... wasted no time installing them.

BCM and FatPats 2" Body Lift in 2 weeks

Why the body lift? Just curious.
I would go with option 1....
Since you will have the front clamshell out already... might as well do an ARB in it at the same time. Just make sure the installer knows what they are doing. Many of us here have just done cores with East Coast Gear Supply It's pretty easy to swap out the clamshell and 3rd member yourself.

Why body lift ??? I want 35x12.5 or even just 33x12.5 without touching / modding the firewall...
I was going to leave it open diff in the front... I don't plan to do crazy rock crawling to require a front locker. If I do plan on doing a front locker; I will end up just swarping out the front calmshe'll & 3rd member with an East Coast Gear Supply one. But as for now I'll just leave it open...

I went with Retro Solutions 55watts Slim line 5000k HID kit w/ their relay harness. Their 35watt slim line ballast should be plug and play. But the 55watts requires a harness.

No matter what you do would still like to see it on 35s for sure. They also make a 6" drop bracket lift kit for your suspension if you wanted to go that route. It's just an FJ kit that can be fitted on our rigs.

I know I have pondered that set up. Spoke with Fabtech and the have a drop brake coming out for the 4runner as well. So I was told by their tech support.
But since I have kdss ... I think 3"suspension and 2" body is enough. For me till I rip out my kdss completely. But that's down the road...

Here's a guy that went with the 6" FJ lift and had pulled off his KDSS too rollin on 35s. It's a great look.

I'm just curious to finally see a body lift on our rigs. Would consider one too if it works out well.

Hhhmmmm I been told that drop brackets causes too much breakage on an IFS ... which is the reason why I didn't go that route. I don't know maybe I'll stick with what I have and just do a 2" BL & BCM and hopefully be enough to run 35x12.5
