Paint chipping under spoiler

Any one else have this problem? Noticed when washing my car this weekend, looks like the spoiler is rubbing and causing the paint to chip.

I thought you were trading it in?

I removed mine (trim piece held on by clips under the wiper, then 4 8mm bolts, takes 30 seconds) and re-assembled it with RTV silicone about a 100K miles ago. No more rattles, no more rubbing or paint chipping.

Yes, it will be an issue with all 5th gens, whether owners notice it or not. Easily fixed, regardless.

You might get it when the last JEEP ends up platform sharing with the GJC

So this should be covered under 36k bumper to bumper warranty correct?

Technically, yes. Realistically, Toyota has not issued a TSB for it, so you will be fighting an uphill battle IF your dealer goes to bat for you. Without good will from the dealer you're going no where.
