Gonna be sweet if you take a digger with those tow hook mounts. Nice pole imprint down the front of your bumper.

Be better if yall made something that comes out of the grill. That way you can enjoy your truck without being ginger about approach angles.

I didn't want to cut up the grill to put up the flag. Not a lot of space to mount back there either.

Any reason you cant just mount it to some ditch light brackets? People mount CB antennas on there so I cant imagine itd be any different.

Grill insert would be cheaper then replacing your whole front cover because you decided to wheel with that thing hanging in front of your skid plate.

Maybe there is not space but, it's asking for trouble in that current spot.

Maybe look into the using a ditch light bracket. May or maynot be strong enough idk.

It has to protrude from the front. Ditch light brackets wont work, plus my ditch lights are in the way.

I wouldn't go enough to warrant cutting up my grill for a flag and wouldnt be doing anything that would cause it to smash into my grill. Just wanted it to be able to go on the dunes and check out the other rides.

But, if I was at dunes in my truck I would be waaay to tempted to have some fun. That flag would end up in my headlight or something.

Too many idiots at Silver Lake for me. Plus its a flexible thin pole that the flag is one. A lot of people put a pool noodle around the pole so it doesn't scratch your vehicle.

I have family in Grand Haven and Traverse City, MI. Was at both places over thanksgiving, my 4th trip up there.

Really want to check that Silver Lake Dune area next spring / summer when it opens for the season.

Searching the internet - jeep websites etc. I found variations of this license plate sand flag mount that looks to be the simplest solution.

SLSD License Plate Dune Flag Mount - JDS Customs

TRD License Plate Dune Flag Mount - JDS Customs

Dirtbound Offroad(R) 1010003 - License Plate Antenna/Flag Mount

I could only imagine.

Simple enough I guess.

Mounts to Treaty Oak recovery point. Built it a few weeks ago. Won't say it will support my 225 lbs if I stand on the tip but it's not going anywhere. Gap between the bumper and mount looks huge in the pic but it's only an inch.

Sticky whips works perfectly fine. No need to fab up anything crazy.

Not when the requirement is to have the flag mounted to the front of the vehicle.

This was easy to build. YMMV, of course.
