I just installed Shrockworks skids and they were not compatible with the Toytec Diff Drop, it needed to be removed. Shrockworks said they partnered with Toytec and since the spacers were are only installed on one side, it only lowered it ⅜ of an inch, it's not that much of a difference.

I put mine on the rack yet also want some lower especially since my upper lights are blocked by the hatch fairing. It would help to have them when backing up my boat especially, I am really imressed by the SRQ and SRM great little lights and are resonable for a rigid product!

That is an awesome 4Runner.

I want to install a TRD skid plate on my 2015 4Runner SR5 and need some help.

I have seen on the 4runner forum that the PT398-00140 TRD skid plate has been installed and the original Lower Cover Radiator Support Air Deflector was kept in place with some trimming because the new skid plate interferes with the Deflector. What I can see on the pictures is on both sides of the Deflector has been trimmed and also in the center section. Is the Air Deflector cut in half behind the skid plate and only 3 bolts are holding/connecting it to the original connecting ears on the bumper. Or the portion behind the skid plate is not cut off and the Air Deflector is attached in the original place with the original 2 bolts and 1 push-type-retainer to the cross member under the radiator. I would like to install it soon.

Could you give us your impressions on the Morimoto H11 Elite HID after having them for over one year? They seem to match the fogs pretty nicely!

Yes they match the Morimoto LED fogs fairly close.
I am very pleased with the quality, color and output of the Morimoto H11's.

I have not had the first issue with them since they were installed.
I am running the 50W ballasts and some people said they would damage the projector lenses, but this is absolutely false.
Before purchasing them, I inquired and TRS had a test T4R headlight and never experienced and adverse projector issues with the higher wattage HID.

So, buy quality parts and get good results.... just sayin'

Any chance you could post some "plain" side pictures?

Saker,

I've looked at your build about 3,000 times in the months that I've been waiting for my T4R to come in (and then the additional week for the 5160s to arrive). I'm really trying to decide which circlip I'm going to use on the 6112s. I've looked at Borfoo3's (and a thousand others) a bunch, too. I'm thinking third Circlip on the front (with 6112s), and then my 1" spacer with stock springs and 5160s in the back for a very slight rake (my front and rear measurements differ by 1.57"s, and if i extrapolate others' experiences, I think I'll have about 3/4" difference after the 6112/5160/1"spacer install.

You have a TON of photos, but I'll be darned if I could find one from the side on flat ground. Would you have a chance to do that?

Thanks, and nice rig!!!

It held up for about 1 year, that is until I started making it peel from one of the corners with the car pressure washer!
So my next task was to remove all platidip and then I painted it w/ Duplicolor Self-Etching Primer, then sprayed it with Duplicolor Semi Gloss Black.

SprintBooster Install

Received my SprintBooster and installed it (set to green setting).
Never thought it would make such a difference.....Toyota should have done this!

A very large improvement on the response!
