Aux Electrical Circuit Mod
I decided I would try a project to have dedicated fused power all in one place via a Blue Sea 5025 6 Circuit w/ ground bus & Cooper Bussmann Resettable Circuit Breaker CB285-100, instead of individual leads running to the battery for power.
TEASER:
I have something in mind to keep it virtually water-resistant/waterproof. I’ll see if it works out.
***Will add photos as items arrive or get installed.
Below are the items I am connecting:
• 12V Circuit for Trailer Back-up Lights
• LED Light Bar
• Engine Compartment LED Light Mod
Seems like there is something else…. I’ll find out when I start unhooking connections!
Started fabricating my support bracket out of a piece of 3/16” plexiglass for the Aux Electrical Circuit Mod

Can't wait to see the results!!
You can see on mine where the plate covers the relays and is almost a little too big due to the harness near the brake booster.

@ weeeee
,
The cutout in the upper right corner of the photo is for a pair of relays currently mounted on the inner fender.
The cutout in the lower left corner of the photo is for the brake booster harness to bypass the bracket.

That's pretty awesome. If you decide to make these I'm sure I'd shell out some $$ for a cleaner plate. I think
@ RedStripeRanger
was looking for a good solution in that area too.

Looks good. What did you use to make the clean cuts and how easy was it to bend the plexi?

Thanks
@ 2chains
!
This was a piece of scrap golf cart upper windshield that had the 90° bend already.
Used a band saw to cut the bracket to my needed dimensions and a file to clean up the edges.
I like the fact that it's clear and non conductive.
I wish I had access to a lot more of this material for obvious reasons.

AUX CIRCUIT MOD
Here is the mock-up of my AUX CIRCUIT. The Pelican 1020 Box idea didn't work out as envisioned. Not quite enough space, so I scrapped that idea.
I think this will be fine as is, not as waterproof as a busman though....
Second photo is the AUX CIRCUIT Close-up installed.
Third photo is the AUX CIRCUIT completely finished and operating as designed

Love the build. Clean!
Can you shoot me over some contact information for the place that you got your sliders from? Even a part number for them? They were strictly bolt on, correct?
