New 2015 4R TE in Colorado...looking to build!
Hello Everyone, just saying hi to the 5th Gen crew.
Very excited that my 4R TE arrived last Friday. Apparently the rail car shortage in the U.S. slowed it down. Anyways, learning a lot from everyone so thanks. Sliders are first things on the list to get ordered...then probably some better tires.

Looks great, I would reverse the order on the sliders/tires.

I did sliders then tires, sliders protect the extremely expensive to fix body under the doors. If you aren't taking the truck offroad then who cares about protection, get tires!

Well that's the point of the build...is to take it offroad. I'm a "recovering jeep-a-holic" and I was always an armor first guy. I know those mini-van stock tires aren't going to get me very far, so it may be 1a. Sliders and 1b. tires in reality. Once I start, I doubt I will be able to stop! I'm sure you guys know the feeling!

Sliders aren't too bad. Just don't put them on with a full gas tank like I did. Had to drive around for a week without the belt around my gas tank attached until it was empty enough for me to move it around. But let me know.

Hey if your in Denver. Look into gobi racks. They are located in aurora. They are going to install mine. From San diego but I just happened to end up in aurora with my car. Haha. Gobi racks can offer a huge amount of versatility into your runner. And they look awesome as well.

Gobi in Aurora... I did not know that! Sweeeeet. Learn something new every day.
Greetings fellow Coloradoan!
I have the trail sliders for now but they will be upgraded. Tires! I also started with a compressor and power box first and will add accessories later. Oh, I have a 6112/5160 suspension combo coming this weekend...

Welcome! Tires were first on my list, my sliders are actually sitting in the box to go on when I can get some free time, to be fair I went with shrockworks so I had to wait 4 months.

Welcome. I am in Centennial and have turned a wrench or two in my life if you need anything.
Looking at your first pick I can't read the dealer plate but guessing maybe Boulder?
One of these days us Colorado guys got to get together for a meet and greet.
2015 Attitude Black TE here.
BTW - thats the way I bought my Trail too - transport wrap still on it (you have to in Colorado - snooze = lose when it comes to TE's). Mine got offloaded from the truck Friday night at 9:00 p.m. and was in my garage by noon on Saturday. :-)

Oh yeah no doubt...the Trails have been arriving sold at all the dealerships.
Good eye, yes that is the Boulder Toyota. I live in Denver and none of the Denver area dealerships had any TE's left. Boulder was receiving 3 last week, but all were sold before even arriving. Fortunately for me, one of the buyers (just happened to be my color of choice, Mag grey) upgraded to a TEP and the dealership called me and asked if I wanted to jump on it. So, I did! Picked it up a couple hours after they unloaded it on Friday night.
