McGyvering happened
I completed the install and i do like the way it looks. It was a slight PITA but worth it. See previous post abt parts.

Wow I am late to this feed! the pics you found are my rig @fargo4x4 lol

Basically tapped into the headlights and ran a wire to a relay that turns on when headlights are on (not DRL or blinkers) although if you prefer that you can wire it to them as well but anywho i then put a little home depot bracket behind it fastened through the grill.

Installed "Raptor" grille lights
This thread was a huge help for me! I installed some Amber LEDs in the grille, wired up to the side marker lights. Nice cheap & easy mod!

Yeah they bolted down into the factory grill slots perfectly! really easy install, thanks for helping me out with the wiring!

Bought these "bolt" LEDs for $5 each. Part no. 12B-Y-B "yellow" color even though the light is actually amber. Really good quality for the price. They bolt directly into the grille slots on the 4R.

Where to tap?
Hey all. Are you tapping into the line directly going into the bulb of your choosing (low beam, high beam, marker, etc)? Or are you tapping in back at the fuse panel with an add-a-fuse?
