We bought pretty much exactly the same truck at almost the same time and have very similar builds planned.
And we both live in austin!

[QUOTE=Haydenatx;2018258
Planned Mods:
Black out Fenders
[/QUOTE]
How do you plan to black out the fenders? I'm planning on doing the same thing and am debating between Line-x and vinyl wrap. Leaning towards the line-x as I tend to spend time off the beaten path and it would be more durable.
I'm also thinking about doing the rear bumper like the early 5th gens as they tend to get pretty scratched up loading and unloading things.
Not sure about the front.

I was thinking vinyl for the fenders but I think that might be pricey. Is Line X a spray on solution? I would prefer a more durable solution so that might be a good route to go. I'm trying to avoid using plasti dip at all costs.

Since you are saying "at all costs", then just go to an auto painter and have them paint it for you! Done!

Maybe I should rephrase... I'd like to do it without plastic dip but do it affordably so I can spend all my money on other mods

Line-x is spray on. It's seriously HD stuff. It's used as bed liner on trucks and is also used in military structures to improve bomb resistance.
I've used it in several different ways on past vehicles culminating in me spraying the whole inside of my jeep tub and roll bars. It looks great for years.
I'm pretty sure that's the path I'm going.

Is it something you would pay someone to do for you? How much would that cost approximately?

Yep, not a DIY thing. Central Texas line-x have always treated me ok. Just tell them what you want and they will give you a quote. I'm going to take mine in soon. I'll let you know what they say.

Hayden! Nice build so far. My only concerns with LineX are that it doesn't adhere to plastic as well as it does to metal and you generally have to remove the parts that you want to coat. Not a huge deal but something to know nonetheless.
If you're interested in doing vinyl, Ruthless Wraps did a great job on mine and were very reasonable on the cost.

Sounds good to me! I've heard hidden falls is a good one to check out. Might be a bit muddy right now...
Landy, Thank you for the info! That is definitely good to know.
