Maybe we should try to "guesstimate" how much will all of the above cost..... just materials, not labor...
20K?

Probably $7000 (with labor) just for the ICON...
Do you have to lift if you install the ICON or can you lift it later? I like the idea of a better ride and less shocks while off road. I just don't have the garage height to add more than a couples inches at best.
I think the springs are overkill but if they were in red it would be a

no snorkel?
Maybe this will finally calm that inner desire of wanting a snorkel. I can't wait to see the rivers they forge without a snorkel. In the yukon/alaska episodes both vehicles had snorkels and I recall them talking about their usefulness in terms of water and dust. Is there something special about the 4runner versus tacoma/landcruiser that makes them feel a snorkel isn't needed?

A production snorkel doesn't exist for the 4Runner of any real quality yet.

Just a quick budget consideration. This list is at least $15000 to $20000 of materials, except labor (installation and design). If someone is willing to spend that money, contact me, I will get it done for you. :-)
Or you can piece by piece, get it done with my individual group buys.
So far, IIRC, from my group buys, you could be not too far:
- Gobi Rack as compare to their Eezi-awn K9
- Tepui Roof Top Tent & Awning as compare to their Eezi-awn
- Shrockworks Bumper as compare to their CBI
- ARB Fridge as compare to their National Luna
- Rigid Ligjts were covered
- my Undercover winch mount is still ongoing
- ICON probably will be in the upcoming Suspension GB
- they dont even have Skids while we had RCI
- they use stock running board while we had Shrockworks Slider
- we are still trying to get ARB drawers while they have the AT customs
- we didnt do a GB on TRD wheels and BFG KO2s, but I did post deals on them
- maybe I should look into some comm equipment GB for the team, but personally, I bought Yaesu's FTM400D, dual band, APRS mobile HAM radio
- they have the ALU-BOX, I personally like Pelican, Harddrigg, Underwater Kinetics etc..
- TRED4x4 instead of Maxtrax
What else are we missing? The body graphics wrap?

You can't arrange for all of it in one?
There's a lot of nice kit on the list. A fridge is probably next on my list, followed by a rack for up top.

If you can find me 20+ participants, I am SURE that I can put one together. I think even 10 maybe good enough. And it will be EPIC.

I'd like to see the winch and mount in action, maybe it will help us get the group buy done. Of course they went with the Zeon platinum.
I know the brought the Tacoma, I thought they had the LC on this trip too. It would be fun to watch them all together.

Got a feeling it's right around the corner though...
Safari snorkel on a 5th gen?
A few things stand out to me.
A 48 HiLift wouldn't provide much lift...a 60 inch model would be much safer and pratical to use.
The running boards look like Slee sliders...can't see them doing a build like this and leaving stock OEM running boards....but maybe.
