Mod Thread of "Ebony and Ivory"

There won't be much building, but I still wanted a place where I could keep track of my mods and various adventures. My T4R is a 2015 XP.
This is how she looked from the dealership.

Mod Thread of "Ebony and Ivory"

First 2 mods were installing LEDs for the low beam and fog lights with RaceSport LEDs.
A few days later I took it to a local body shop and had them smoke out the tail lights. [IMG]
The 2 sets of LEDs came to roughly $500, and $80 for the tail lights.

Mod Thread of "Ebony and Ivory"

Few days later I ordered a set of LED interior lights. http://m.ebay.com/itm/281562708274?nav=SEARCH
All the lights fit perfectly except for the overhead dome light. It was a PITA and still has its fits of flickering.
Just a few days ago I took off the roof racks and had them painted black at a body shop. $50 and it was a steal. Exactly the look I wanted. Shout out to Kittyhawksurf for the inspiration (not to say there weren't many before him, I'm new here!)

Mod Thread of "Ebony and Ivory"

I received my TRD pro lower valance today and put it on. Install wasn't too bad. The bumper came off easier than expected. My dremel skills are not what I was hoping they were, but good enough to get the job done. It took me about 2 hours to get everything done. Happy with the results!

Yeah, I took the bait because it already had many of the mods I was interested in doing. The running boards, the black rims, all terrain tires, blacked out emblems, custom grill.

Somewhere in Japan is a man that has lost his pinky finger over signing that deal with Southeast Toyota.

XP = eXtra Payments?

I see them in dealerships all the time.

What I can gather

-grille insert
-some kind of aftermarket wheels, changed from year to year
-they used to reskin the seats in some kind of leather/pleater combo
-may or may not have some kind of LED
-may or may not have XP badging
-may or may not have stick on (yes stick on) hood scoop

They usually list it as a "special edition," and they only do this to SR5's to price them above TE's and closer to LE's.
