2015 Trail Cross Bars
Can anyone confirm which cross bars fit a 2015 Trail? It seems like there are 2 part numbers out there: PT278-89102(trail) and PT278-89100 (Sr5 and limited). I read a thread on here where someone tried to put non trail cross bars on their trail and they didn't fit.

Various parts websites seem to contradict the fitment. Are cross bars interchangeable now? Can anyone on here confirm what I should be ordering / on the lookout for?

'14 and up the rails and cross bars are all the same. Trails only had different rails from 10-13

Ok perfect. That's what I was thinking but wanted to confirm. Does this make the 10-13 trails the odd ball then (needing the specific trail rails)? For instance a 2011 sr5 cross bar will fit in a 2015 trail?

I believe so, not 100% though. I would just take "trail" out of your search and see what you come up with. See if you get any kind of '14 or '15 cross bars and match up part numbers.

Have the SR5's crossbars changed over the years as well, or is this specific to the TE?

I think I paid around $100-$125 for them from a toyota parts dealer.

2010-13 TE rails are specific to that model for some odd reason rear rail is slightly shorter , so to answer above query NO won't fit 14-15 !
