Very simply. That setup is genius. Not only does it ride well (I have the 200-400lb spring) but its adjustability is easy and can even be tailored side to side as well. Think full gas tank..
Also, if you ever need more weight you can upsize the spring weight without having to buy the whole kit again. I am sitting at about 300+- pounds over stock, when fully loaded now, and I still have about an inch to go.
Once I buy the trailer (retirement) I will switch to the 400+ spring to help with tongue weight.
The only issue I can see is if you were using a high articulation, long travel setup...
Since the 5th gen rear springs are only held in place by the body weight, my spidey sense says there is the outside possibility, of a spring dropping out under high articulation angles on the rear tires...NOTE: this is an opinion based on how easy it was to get the kit installed, and, the fact that this kit was designed by Eibach to work with the Eibach shocks (per their website)...not a King or Icon long travel setup.
For my purposes, overlanding on easy and moderate trails and as a DD. This is the best set up out there. Money well spent!
