Skid Plate Replacement
I took my 2010 Limited out on some trails this weekend and it performed wonderfully until I went too eagerly into what I though was water and a little mud. It ended up being a quicksand like material sinking my 4Runner up to the door sills (thankfully, none came in the interior).
In the process of being winched out (pulled backwards), I lost my factory (plastic) skid plate that sits below the oil filter and damaged the plastic fairing that sits underneath the front bumper. I cannot seam to locate the OEM replacements anywhere (Rock Auto etc. no luck). Does anyone have a suggestion?
Should I just replace the factory plastic skid with an RCI Skid Plate? The front bumper fairing lip being pulled forward is ruining the look but I'm more concerned with restoring protection to the vehicle (although that stock skid wasn't much).

I broke the front air dam on my SR5 on going through my first mudhole... it was deeper than I thought and I hit on the back side. I eventually just took it off and tossed it. The front filler plate is still there, though. It's more of a "filler" plate than a "skid" plate. I believe it's part 52129B here:
2011 TOYOTA 4RUNNER 4000CC 24-VALVE DOHC EFI, AUTOMATIC 5-SPEED FRONT BUMPER & BUMPER STAY
Cover, Front Bumper, Lower.
Oops... except I put in my information (2011 SR5) instead of your information (2010 Limited).
Or, you could get an understated and effective Southern Style Hybrid front bumper: 2014+ 4Runner Slimline Hybrid front bumper - Front Bumpers - Products
They're working on a version to fit the 2010-2013 models.

Just get the aluminum RCI skids and forget about it!

Make sure you back out and re-start with your vehicle's info. That link is for my vehicle.

If you plan to offroad much at all, don't bother replacing any of it with OEM parts. It will just keep getting torn off....
