2016 Tundra TRD PRO Quicksand
Appears to be a 2016 TRD PRO Tundra in the new (for 2016) quicksand color. Not sure how I like it, in fact, kinda don't. Looks like a sunburnt turd if I'm honest. Can't really see it looking much better on the 4Runner.
Thoughts?

I'm sure. Yuck. Brown and black do not go well together.
If you come downstairs with a tan suit on, and black shoes, your wife is gonna look at you with

I think with a lift, bigger aggressive tires, and maybe some black HD bumpers it will look ok. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of it either although, I think it looks best on the new taco. I really wish they would've come out with a color closer to the Terrain color on the Ford Raptor or made the Cement color from the FJ available.

Was never really a fan of that color, I am sure others will like it though.

I LOVE that color, and if it had been out when I was buying I would bought that sucker and modded away with no concern about the extra money I paid just for the color.
So there!

Folks in the desert--like here in Western Colorado--will LOVE that color. Instant camo!

When I was told by a couple of dealers that it would not be possible to get an Inferno TRD Pro (my first color choice), I really thought about ordering Quicksand. I am really glad that I did not. I imagined this color to be more of a beige/sand color similar to some Jeep JKs, a color I find very subdued and attractive. I would have been royally disappointed. White is not usually my choice but it is growing on me.
Color is such a subjective thing and a matter of personal preference - so I am sure many would love it and this would be their ideal color.

This is the color I wanted; (Pretty much exactly my dream tacoma only in a 4 door sitting on an 80 series frame).

Funny, but I see it as the color of dirt. Which means it's always going to look good when you don't bother to wash it.

In stock form, I'm not too taken by it. But I've seen some nice FJs with that colour look pretty cool when built up. I imagine it gets a nice para-military look to it if you build it up nicely. That being said, I prefer darker colours myself.

Yeah I don't like that at all but I think Bright White is the only color worth owning so what do I know?
