Double check your parts numbers before ordering...
The rear window numbers above are reversed; 757 21 35011 is the right rear not the left rear......

Thanks for this!
I joined up here today because this post was excellent and I used it to order weather strips for my 4runner.
I appreciate all the effort you made on this, just outstanding!

I have purchased the front strips previously, but just ordered the belts for the second row and the rear hatch. They have needed to be replaced for some time. OEM Part Source seems to have the best deal right now. No free shipping, but after using the code 10OFF, shipping was only like $10.
Part Number Price
75721-35011 $39.16
75722-35011 $39.16
68292-35041 $25.62
Subtotal: $103.94
Estimated Standard Shipping: $11.09
Discount: -$1.11
Total: $113.92

Easy-Peasy...

After an adult beverage and looking at the new pieces I gave it a shot, figuring there was only 1 clip that was actually holding in. 30 min later all 5 outer weatherstripping pieces were done. $600 my as* Findlay Toyota Flagstaff. This really could not be any easier. You just have to be careful when removing not to scratch the paint on your door.
Here is the process......In order of photos.....
1)Buy parts...
Front Drivers- 75712-35011
Front Passen- 75711-35011
Rear Drivers- 75721-35011
Rear Passen - 75722-35011
Rear Hatch- 68292-35041
2)Locate the clip on the specific part you are replacing and locate it on the one thats on the truck.
3)PRY UP CAREFULLY. I used a standard screwdriver wrapped in duct tape. Deep a plastic putty knife is a good idea. THIS IS THE PART TO BE CAREFUL WITH. You can scratch your paint pretty easily if you are not careful. Use your fingernail to get the weatherstrip piece up, then use your tool to go under it and keep going up. You will probably break the plastic clip off, but you thats okay. Just use pressure and get it up and off.
4)Grab the now loose piece, and start working it out of the channel it is in by the mirror, once that is done you can pull it straight up and back.
5)Throw the broken piece at your neighbor.
6)Clean off any left over plastic crap.
7)Start installing the new piece with the end in the mirror channel first. Then working it down until the clip os in its home. Press down firmly over the entire length to ensure a tight fit.
8) REPEAT!! The rear doors have 2 clips and the hatch window has none. The hatch you will end up mutilating, but thats okay. It installs as easy as the others.
9) Enjoy adult beverage and your work!!!

Had it in my mind that I was going to have to pull door panels to install the new moldings. Part numbers are correct, procedure is correct, everything posted above was very, very helpful. Thank you!!

Its been some time since I've been active on this forum and much like this forum, my 4Runner has been neglected over the past few years.
I am getting ready to sell it and noticed the passenger side weather stripping is failing and I'll have it replaced prior to selling. I love how easy it was to find this thread / process / info.
Too easy! Thanks all!

My front passenger side just went. Thanks for this write-up.
Parts ordered from Roseville Toyota.
$177 shipped for the 4 doors. Prices have gone up since 2015.
Other places had them a bit cheaper but shipping was higher.

Appreciate the write-ups, but to the original poster's comment (from way back when), has anyone had any luck getting these replaced under warranty?
I took ownership of a new 2019 earlier this year. If it's rained, the window is dry, I put it down, and then bring it back up and it's wet. Now that it's gotten cold here after a rain, the window is frozen shut and I hear ice in the door when I close it.
Understandable for something that's been sitting in the elements a few years, but not a brand new vehicle.
My weather stripping was either installed wrong or was garbage to begin with. And it's all 4 doors, too. I'm not big shelling out the amount required for the parts here...which sounds like it's over $100, for something so new.
Looking to hear any stories...

I just noticed my rear hatch trim fall apart in this southwest florida sun. Bought the part off amazon, had to pry the old one off with a padded putty knife, then used plyers to grab the top of the trim and pull. No issues, no damage to the body. Cleaned the metal on the body with an old shirt and water, then snapped the new one on..in 5 mins. Thanks again.

I love it when a 6 year old thread saves the day! Got the part # and saw the note about a TR4 discount at Camelback.

I’m needing to replace the weatherstripping on my rear window. I have the new one on order, but it won’t be here till next week. Until then, If I get caught in rain, what kind of issues will I be looking at? Anybody have issues from water intrusion in the rear hatch?

There are the small drains at the bottom of the liftgate. To be sure I would remove the back panel and look for myself.
You can see some pics here to get an idea of what it takes to remove.

Replacement of the rear piece took me about 10 minutes. That included cleaning the window and area of door that the strip covers. There was a lot of dust underneath the trim piece. I used a plastic trim tool to remove the original. It was almost as easy as changing the air filter.
