Anything I'm forgetting?

So between all the posts, the lift thread, and the lifted picture threads, I've decided to put together my first lift.

First I decided what my goals behind lifting were:
  • Increase ground clearance with the intention of putting 275/70 or 285/70 KO2s under her.
  • Maintain slight forward rake for towing/load/looks.
  • Maintain or improve current ride.
  • Keep long-term performance and reliability in check.

I don't have plans to do any off-roading that is more serious than light/easy trails, semi-maintained roads, and fire-roads to get to fishing areas. At least in the next 3-4 years.

I'm planning on going with the following:

Bilstein 5100 Complete SET

OME Rear Coil Springs

I'm going with the 5100 shocks, simply because they seem tried and true. While they may not be the best that is out there, the consensus seems to be that they are an economical, yet performance enhancing upgrade.

I plan on running the fronts at 1.75", with the stock springs.

For the rear, I am currently planning to throw on OME Light Load Rear coils springs. My rational here is that I'll get 1.5" of lift out of them, without really stiffening the ride up. I don't intend on putting a new rear bumper or anything on the back that should warrant the HD springs, nor do I want 3" of lift.

All in all, I think I should be sitting pretty nice, and easily improving the truck for what I want.

So, my questions to you guys are:
  1. Does this sound about right for what I want?
  2. Am I missing anything? I'm pretty sure this should be conservative enough to not have to do my control arms.
  3. Is it worth getting the rear springs, or should I just get a rear spacer to accomplish this same thing?
  4. Is there any better way I could/should be spending my money here?
