So much for being able to find that important information on sliding trays

Sliding tray just uses too much valuable real estate and in the end isn't all that useful.
I retired from the Army and bought my wife a Suburban for family duty. I took a job 190 miles away from home and knew that I would be commuting back and forth each week and thought the Explorer Sport would be more friendly for gas economy and what not. While it's been pretty darn comfortable...mornings like this past Monday morning where I ran into two instances of interstate closures have made driving a sporty ute...less than desirable. The inability to "go offroad" even if it's just over grass and down an and up a small embankment is maddening.
For all the quirkiness of the 4Runner that was annoying...the utility is greatly missed.
