This is my input although it is not from personal experience.
It is supposed to be a good snow tire, on par with KO2’s. It does have generous siping and the 3 snowflake symbol.

For what it’s worth, my experience with these tires has been pretty good. The first set was on my 2008 4th gen and they did pretty well in snow/ice. Well enough that I purchased another set for my 5th gen.

Had these for a winter here in Utah. I've run BFG KO2's, Cooper AT3 XLT and these. I thought snow performance was fine. Doesn't grip like a dedicated winter tire but for an AT I though the Falkens were just fine. The KO2's and AT3 XLT's were fine too. Honestly the trick snow and ice driving is to slow tf down and don't get too cocky. If you're concerned about winter driving I'd get the Blizzaks or Nokians but I think the AT3/w will be just fine too if you drive very cautiously.

Having owned two sets of these Falkens, one set of KO2s and one set of Ridge Grapplers I can confidently say these perform the best of the bunch in snow and ice. I was never impressed with the KO2 in snow although they did fine. Just not impressive. The RGs were awful. These Falkens are everything they’re hyped to be.

My first set was purchased to be a 4 season tire seeing as we hit tons of ice and snow. Even after 40,000 miles they still handled very well in snow and ice. However, they are still just an AT tire - they aren't Blizzacks or Nokians.

These are from January when we last saw snow in the mountains of Colorado. I tried to get stuck so I could test my self recovery skills (we still had friends nearby). I couldn’t get all 4 wheels completely stuck. they aren’t studded snow tires, but they are very predictable in wet, snow, and icy conditions.

I'll corroborate all of this, they were great in the minimal amounts of snow we saw in MD this past season

Just got my set mounted on some new TRD Pro wheels. Went 265/70/17 in the SL load range. Only set me back $122 per tire and free shipping/no tax (I got them through my work/dealer).

For me, even the stock Terra Grapplers are below par while in snow. As far as ice, I nearly slid off the road on the way to Kirkwood from South Lake. I was traveling below 30 mph as well.. Your response is relieving. These are back at the top of my list!

Predictable. Perfect word to describe something you trust. Cheers to you,
