Got 285/70/17 SL on my stock suspension TRD OR. Had to trim the mudflaps and move the fender liner forward. Otherwise no rubbing under compression. Can definitely feel the weight over stock but only marginally more road noise.

Just a short me too. The Falkens had a significant steering wheel wobble at 60mph and a third attempt at balancing was of no help. Went with Perilli Scorpion All Terrain Plus which a smooth, quiet, and handling the rain great.

What size / load did you have on your Falkens?

Have these myself and love them. Did you just throw the eibachs on stock suspension? How does it ride?

Yes I put the Eibach's on with the Pro's Fox shocks. It rides pretty good. Not amazing, but better in some situations not as good in others. Its definitely a firmer ride. Not harsh, but firmer. So far I like the look with the Falkens. They are quiet on road. No whining like the G2's. Hopefully they are better in the rain and snow than the G2's.

Back in my car days I had eibach lowering springs and I know exactly the feeling of the firmer ride. Not the end of the world and preference in the end I guess.

I think Ill upgrade to 285s next but not sure if using springs, spacers or all around Bilsteins

265/70/17 SL Falken Wildpeak AT3W SL on Stock ORP

Hello, new member and first post here.

I just picked up a new 2020 ORP, and have TRD SEMA wheels incoming.

My intent is to replace stock tires with Falken AT3W SL in stock size.

I’ve spent an hour reading through this thread, so apologies if this is redundant but I can’t seem to find a definitive answer.

As the TRD wheels have slightly less offset than the stock wheels, and these Falken’s appear to run a bit wide, will I have any rubbing issues on a bone stock non-KDSS ORP?

Had these tires on a Wrangler and loved them, BTW.

Thanks in advance.

I’m actually pretty happy with the Eibach springs ride. The Pro rides smoother and handles better especially on the highway. Less nose dive and less sway. Firmer on certain bumps, but not bad at all. I knew the spacers would not be a good choice since ride quality is important and I wasn’t going to change the whole suspension.

So I had to remove the spacers which I was thinking about anyway. I had a lot of rubbing on fender liner with 285’s. Now I have no rubbing and I actually like the tires tucked inside the fenders.

Sorry to hear about that. Looks like a big gash on your sidewall? Are your tires rated LT?

So between the KO2's and Falkens I'm leaning towards the Falkens based on price and because they are something different. Hoping that's the right choice.
I was in the same situation and went with the Falkens. No regrets, but most of my driving is on the street...which they do great.
