Hefty Fabworks Aluminum Front Bumper for '10-'13 4Runner... ORDERED!!
After crunching my front bumper cover and checking with Chris at Heft Fabworks I found out he was ready to go on an aluminum front bumper for the '10-'13 Runners.
Chris was very helpful and will be doing the install since I am only an hour away. As well he's installing my winch and light bar.
Thanks again to Chris with all my questions, I think he probably replied to 20 e-mails in 2 days and stepped up his production schedule to meet my needs.
There are no pictures yet of any finished bumpers, steel or aluminum, for the 10-13's. However, He sent me a few production pics I have included. Some are of the steel bumper and some of an aluminum. As progress moves forward he has promised more pics to share.
Install should be in a few weeks so stay tuned!

I like the fact the more and more companies are doing FB.
Not hating, but..... those padeyes on the front. They seem very thin, you won't have enough stiffness for any kind of side loading. (Yes you shouldn't side load shackles/padeyes but it's bound to happen at some point)

That's a nice looking bumper. I swore I would never want a replacement bumper as I really like the factory bumper on my 2010 trail, but after crunching it a bit on the Golden Crack in Moab two weeks ago I am finding myself looking at them more and more. I'll be looking forward to see the finished pictures of this.

I guess time will tell. I'll pass it on to Chris at Hefty. They have been running this basic design on a '14 for a while without any issues. Sometimes there are ways to avoid side loading by distributing the load with straps

Sorry to bump an old post, but I browsed your profile a bit and couldn't find the information.
I'm looking at getting this bumper as a replacement from some idiot backing into me, but am curious what you did for the blinkers? What you did doesn't seem to be an option on their site and none of the pictures for their bumper are on a 2010-2013 (like mine and yours). Hopefully I'm not missing a build thread with all this information.

I'm attaching a picture that I think will answer your question, however I am happy to help with anything else you might need

What?!
Man I wanted an aluminum HF prerunner bumper for my 2012. I was hoping he would make one when I inquired back in November but I was told there were no immediate plans.
I instead ordered one from Demello which is supposed to ship in a couple weeks.
Yours is going to be awesome....

Thanks dude. My goal is to try and source stuff local to CO so I can save on shipping and waste a few of my vacation days picking it all up. I really like the way yours turned out.

That's funny....beer and browsing is the culprit.
I had asked about a bumper for my M/Y with holes for signal lights along with fogs minus the current notch below the headlights that matches 14'+ models that he makes now.
That was an obvious no go which makes total sense and was in hindsight a dumb ass question to begin with.
Your bumper is exactly what i was hoping for and I now realize it was potentially yours that may have seen that prompted my contacting HF.
