My right knee will adjust the fan speed if I get in or out quickly, otherwise while driving its not a problem.

6'5" and fit fine in a 2014 w/ no sunroof, but only as the driver (seat all the way down, but still has a few more inches back). My head touches the ceiling as a passenger as the seat doesn't go down and I like a fairly upright position. I think the 2010-13 had less seat adjustment range which was addressed in the '14 refresh.

You can have two drivers both 6' and each will fit differently due to leg versus torso length.

Drivers with long torsos will say there's little headroom while drivers with long legs will say there's not enough leg room.

You aren't kidding. I'm 6'7" but I'm all torso. My inseam is 34 for most pants (34.5 actual). So for me, seat to roof height is more important than legroom.

I fit quite good in my '19 premium, though I did have to go with no sunroof. Sunroof robs a lot of headroom.

It's funny, but also shows the diversity in dimensions in height...I've got the exact same inseam at 6'2".

I keep trying to tell people that they have to sit in and adjust for themselves and they don't understand why. They also don't get that people the same height but different body types don't find the same adjustments comfortable (ie me @ 215lb athletic vs someone @ 215lb pear shaped).

The other similar issue that hasn't been mentioned directly is how upright or reclined you like to sit. I'm on 6', but like to sit with the back as upright as possible. With a sunroof, my head is brushing the ceiling, so I got without. If you sit with the back very reclined, you can be much taller without an issue.

I'm surprised no one experiments to see what other seats will fit into the 5th GEN.
Would the Lexus GX seats fit?
What about the seats from a LX570?
I believe there was a thread here where someone put seats from a BMW in a 5th GEN 4Runner.

Perhaps seats from a German SUV-say what you want about the lack of reliability of their vehicles but their vehicle seats are awesome.
Perhaps because Germans tend to be taller people their vehicle seats are more ergonomic?

Same here. I'm 6'3" and have no problem with headroom with the seat adjusted to the lowest setting. The sunroof recess on the Pro helps a bit too.

I think if you're tall and also a big hat person you'd have issues.

Right I mean you could be 5'8" or something normally giving enough headroom but if you have a dump truck ass that might elevate you several inches with all that padding.

Don't get the sunroof. It adds two inches to cabin height.

Don’t forget long-waisted vs short-waisted people. A 5’11” guy could have his hair tickling the roof (or is it the other way around!) but the long legged 6’5” guy has room for his sunglasses on top of his head.

Adds or subtracts? Is it only the headliner that drops or is the metal roof panel shaped differently (aside from the cutout)
