Calling all k02 owners 265 vs 275 ?

Hey guys , I just got some 265 c load ko2 yesterday, look kinda small , but the salesman said I could swap then out for a 275 if I want . So is there a big difference from c 265- e275 ride, size, mpg ? They weigh 7lbs more per tire .

Why not just read the existing 275 KO2 threads (that even have pictures) and make up your own mind...we can't see your truck, and didn't include any pictures.

275s will look a lot better, but I think the look is the only real benefit. Yes, it is arguable that when you air down the 275s will give you a larger contact path, but again, I don't think you are airing down all the time... if you were, you wouldn't be looking at KO2s. 275s will be heavier E rating, will affect the speedo a bit, and may minorly rub.... but like I said earlier, they look a whole lot better.....

Ok ,well shoot , wish I would have looked further into this yesterday the difference seems pretty negligible with ride/mpg and that they look way better in 275 . Definitely I'm gonna change if they still let me . He offered yesterday when I went back to get my rebate form . After he saw the truck outside .My only other experience with E was 265/75/16 nitto that were on my stock 01 ltd runner it just made me hate life lol - thanks

Looks like the difference in overall diameter is only like 0.6 inches. Do they really look that much different?

I also wonder about the 275s offroad. Do they rub in rough terrain?

I went with 265's because I don't plan on lifting more than leveling. Also, the weight difference gave me some concerns. If they had a c load 275 k02, I would have gotten that.

I have 275's with E rating. No rub, no problems, and the weight is negligible. Still averaging 18 mpg and long trips I've gotten 19.6 mpg before which included some stop and go traffic.

and whoever said there is only a .5" difference is wrong
