Trying to get back on topic...
You've had it for 6 months and it still "doesn't feel right"... what do you mean by "doesn't feel right"?
The ultimate question before getting rid of a vehicle is, "Does it meet your needs?"
"Needs" vary immensely from person person and can include practical things like interior cargo room, passenger room, towing power, offroading ability, gas mileage, reliability, and comfort. "Needs" can also include non-practical things like image. And yes, whether practical or not, some people just aren't happy unless they project the correct "image", so it becomes a "need" for them.
Personally, I went from a T-Top Camaro to a Chevy S-10 back in the 90's. My "image" took a massive hit and it took me a long time to get over it... but being practical won out and I got used to pickups. But with a divorce my "needs" changed drastically and the Silverado just wasn't cutting it. That's why I have a 4Runner. When I decide it's mid-life-crisis time I'll keep the 4Runner and get a little sports car to start reliving my youth, but that's still in the future.
If the 4Runner meets your needs, and you enjoy driving it, then eventually it will start feeling right. If it doesn't meet your needs (even if that "need" is the fact that you won't be happy unless you own a pickup), then sell it.
Option 2: Go for the best of both worlds. Keep the 4Runner and buy an old beater pickup for a few thousand.

Get what makes you happy. Life is a short ride, it's best to enjoy it.

It just depends on what you want to do.
If I strictly wanted an off road machine, it would be the 4Runner all day long.
I have long list of complaints about the Tundra (mainly interior), but the positive outweighs the negative.

Thanks, I would love the Tundra TRD Pro. Good looking truck

Be mindful of the cheapness of the interior on the Pro Tundra: No heated seats, only the driver side window is auto down only, no power passenger side seat, no driver side grab handle on the A-pillar (easy fix though) and the most cheapest thing is a lack of a light around the ignition.
Oh yeah, and a separate AM/FM antenna from the XM Radio?

I find it interesting how Non-TRD Pro owners rip owners to shreds, but never vice versa. On the Raptor forums is even crazier with Gen I owners waging an all out war against the upcoming Gen II release, to the point its hilarious and I have started to embrace the insanity. Love what you have, but dont criticize others for buying an upgraded model for there needs. They all have advantages.
But seriously, you have to figure out what you dont love about the 4 Runner and if its worth the cost of trading. It may be something obvious such as the sluggish engine performance. Or it could be having that pick up bed utility....

This all depends on who YOU are, and what's important to you... If all that matters is that the car/truck moves your "soul", then keep/get the one that does that. If practicality matters most, then deem what's most important and choose the one that checks off the most boxes. On here, we're all going to give you conflicting opinions until the thread is old and gray...
For me, I personally love my 4Runner. I like the way it looks, the size, and the overall style of my year and model. But, practicality means almost as much to me these days. I sacrifice a little of both with my 14 TEP. But it still gives me a shiot-eating grin when I walk up on her or glance at her in the garage (the 'soul' stirring part).

talks sh1t on everyone. It's a right of passage.
Get what feels good! Drive them back to back, press all of the buttons, open everything, turn on every light, adjust anything adjustable, and drive them in an identical loop. Do this at night and during the day. The answers you seek will be laid out in front of you. Thorough with your testing you must me.

You are assuming that more money equals an "upgraded model". Some of us don't see it that way.

For the record, I don't wear Oakleys, Tapout, Fox, MMA, etc. Ray-Bans and Arc'Teryx instead.

I am feeling left out. He has never talked sh1t to me...
My good friend has a TRD off Road Tundra and it is a great truck. the 5.7 v8 sounds amazing and it is a lot of fun to drive. He loves my 4runner as well. The thing is he is a truck guy and I prefer SUVs so we both prefer what we got. Sounds like you are really a truck guy too if you are not completely comfortable in the 4runner. That or you really want a Fiat 500 and wont admit it yourself...

I like your truck...looks great. I drove nothing but Fords since graduating from college, my first was a 1982 Bronco. My prized possession in my garage is my 1977 Bronco Sport, uncut, 66K miles. This one is a keeper. But my experience with my last F150 turned me off in terms of nit picking issues and problems. Loved the power and size though. My wife really likes her 2012 Expedition Limited, but her next vehicle will be a Toyota or Lexus. I really want to get her a LC or the LX
When I started looking for a new vehicle late 2014, I started with the Tunda in mind, I was looking for a SR5 4WD with leather interior...good luck finding that combo. Ended up with the 4RNR, toyed briefly with the idea of a FJ until I drove one for 3 miles.
