Bilstein 5100 to 6112
I currently have the Bilstein 5100 all around set to 2.5" front and 1.5" rear coil spacers. The stance is great and the ride is much improved over stock, however I find it to be too stiff going over choppy roads.
My goal is to maintain a light lift like I currently have and achieve the smoothest ride possible at this height. This means absorbing all the bumps so I don't feel it.
I'm considering switching to the 6112s, and wanted to see if anyone with experience can confirm this desired result and if it would be worth it.

...wow... you just read my mind/exact scenario I’ve been pondering for the last week straight. I have almost the exact same set-up, just one setting lower up front and only 1 inch rear spacers... Finally have driven on it for several months and am thinking the EXACT same thing you are... I love the improvement over stock; but it’s proving to be almost a bit “chatty” over choppy roads (which we have plenty of here in DFW). So I’m pondering what my options are to keep the same (very minimal) lift, but maybe soften the pre-loading a little. By all means I am in no rush what-so-ever.... just thinking out loud for later in the year perhaps.

Sub'd. Very curious about this also. Rig looks great with that lift setup though!

Wouldn't you need to think about swapping out your springs to something with a different spring rate to match what the 5100's can handle? In my experience, spacers lifts give a garbage ride.

I'd start with the most inexpensive mod for going down washboard roads... lower your psi.

I'm curious about the 6112 as well. I am sitting on stock and wondering if I should go with the 6112 (and god knows what in back)... or go OME... Toytec.... GAHHHHH too many choices.
HELP!!!

Unless you already have the 5100s or you are planning to stay with stock springs, it's the exact opposite of this. The 6112 kit barely costs more than the 5100 kit with springs.

Just to muddy the water some more...
Is anyone running 6112s in the front and 5100s for the rear coupled with some lift springs?

Apparently I can, because not everyone who has asked in this thread has already gone to 5100s. And since you clarified with, "all you guys," you were directing that at everyone. So, I am at worst the second most illiterate member on this thread.
