Had to laugh. When I saw you drove 80 I glanced at your profile to see where you lived. Boston. That explains it! You're probably the slowest guy on the highway at 80. Once when lived there I was going down the Mass Pike at 80 and the guy next to me drifted over and we bumped mirrors. All in a day's drive in Mass.

The XM seems to work the same as before Gobi, but I have only had it on a week and just driven in town.

That's cool man, glad they were able to hook you up! On a semi-related note, wasn't the surf ski Thomas Magnum's preferred method of exercise in Hawaii? Are you sleuthing about in a T4R instead of a Ferrari? ;)

I definitely would've done no-rise as well. Darn.
Interesting result

That's interesting info here. I'm going to have to try it to see how well it works in my area

I keep hearing that the light bar is a good solution. At least the only one I can apply to my existing rack. I live in WINDY West Texas and the wind noise is... wow! That being said... it is the best damn rack I have ever seen. I'll deal with the noise and save for a light bar.
Any suggestions for a 40 inch bar that doesn't cost more than the rack itself? Have mercy!

They can get up there ....eBay has some light bars at a decent price .....but top notch rigid light bars are damn near 1k ....wither way some light is better than no light

Has anyone tried to extend the front visor over the rise?
