Rear Sliding Cargo Tray
I want to buy a new 4Runner for my wife that has this option but I cannot find one.
So I'm asking for everyone's help on here. If you see one for sale, please post it in this thread.
OR
If you have information on which Toyota sales regions routinely stock this option for its' dealers that would be useful too.
I am in PA and apparently the only way to get one in this region is to order a 4Runner or hope the dealer can work an exchange with an unallocated one in from a neighboring region coming thru the same port.
Thank you
Nate
PS. I searched and read all the threads on here about this topic and didn't see any recent conclusive information on the logistics of this option broken down by sales region (this is the reason for the new thread).

Rear Sliding Cargo Tray
I couldn't find one either when I was shopping for my TEP. I considered it as a dealer add-on but the cost is ridiculous if it doesn't come from the factory. After some research, I read that some guys don't even use theirs so I eventually gave up and decided to use that money on other parts of my build.

Appreciate the feedback, but this isn't an option. My wife saw it online and said she's only interested in a new 4Runner that has this option so... otherwise she'll keep driving her 2007 (however, I need to find her a new vehicle, so I don't get the guilt trip when I buy my Land Cruiser next year). Happy wife, happy life.

The sliding tray is awesome. I love mine and use it all the time.

I personally hate it, yea the slide thing is nice first but then its cons start to outweigh its pros.. namely less usable rear space, slide rails get sand in and start to squeak, stuff falling into the back area when you have more stuff back there and using the tray... etc. Wish it were an afterwards add on that you can take off when not needed.

The fact that you're removing yours makes me want it even less. Funny how that works.

This one is 200 miles away from a PA zip code and has it - so maybe start with this area.

Sure the sliding tray is nice to have, but I wouldn't love my truck any less without it. I personally haven't used mine more than a handful of times. Most recently, I used it to load ikea boxes (see pic). I will say that it makes for a great spot to sit and relax while camping and can provide additional length if you are sleeping in the truck. I am not sure if it is 100% worth the extra $$ or headache trying to track down a truck with it, just my 2 cents.
