MAJOR improvement in looks and ride quality!! No more major nose dive during breaking and it soaks up bumps better. Absolutely zero rub and I get to leave the mud flaps on!
I was worried about it looking "goofy" with that amount of lift on 275's, but I actually love the look!!

What is the daystar 1.5 spacer part# you used?

Do you know your rear measurements from ground to fender?

1.5 or 1 in spacers
Thanks again for all of the help. I'm still deciding if I want 1 in cornfed rear spacers or 1.5 daystar spacers. What's everyone's opinion about which one I should go with?

I was able to get the Daystar for 28.75 on ebay open box(never installed). I haven't gotten to the actual install yet as I am trying to decide if I want to deviate from stock wheels, so I can not speak to the ride. However, from everything I have seen here, the Daystar and Cornfed products are great! Not sure you will go wrong either way. One may be a little truer to 1.5", but other than that, I'm not sure you'd see/feel a difference.

I was worried about the 1.5" in the back being to "high" (my fronts are set at 2.5"). Glad I went with the 1.5" though, as 1" would have resulted in a "reverse rake" look...
If you are setting the fronts to 2.5", I'd go 1.5" in the rear. If you're only going 1.75" up front, I'd do 1" in the rear...
Phil

Phil, do you have will spacers or just running stock on wheels? I am looking to probably throw 285/70s on mine after the lift. Can't decide if I am going to want to change the width with new wheels or not.

+1 for the 2.5 & 1.5 set up.
Just finished mine last week, it rides great.
No more feeling like a boxer in the ring; bobbing and weaving my head back and forth while driving. Very nice sporty and firm feel now.

TONS of us have all done this mod, and you WILL HAVE NEGATIVE rake with that setup. Heck, there is approx 1/4 inch negative rake at the 1.75 front setting and nothing in the rear (tho the fenders will look level).
The pics below are 1.75 front (which is NOT the highest setting) and stock rear... And it's level to the eye, but slight negative frame rake.
Again, do as you please, it's your rig, your time, your money. But with a completely stock 4Runner, 5100s at all four corners, and the fronts set to the highest, you will not be level.

What about putting a 2.5 bilstein and a 2 inch rear spring? Cos im planning to do that by next year..

That is a different story.... Should be fine with that, depending upon what springs you plan on installing. Do a lot of (re)searching, but I know that you can find members who have that setup. Tho, I’d bet most replaced all four springs at the same time.
I, too, will eventually most likely remove the rear spacers and replace the coils to lift, along with front coils to do the lift up there as well (while putting the front shock settings back to normal height)... thereby getting my lift all in the coils, and not by using spacers or pre-loaded shocks. But I’m not in a hurry, and have much more research to do on it first.
