Anyone gone with an Old Man Emu OME lift?

Just looking for opinions/reviews on this lift. I've really liked what I've seen and read about OME stuff on other vehicles. Just wanted to know how it was on the t4r. Haven't been able to find much info so far tho....

As soon as the front shocks come in from Wheelers mine will be installed hopefully the 25th. I went with 884 front and 895E rear with their nitrocharger shocks. I was going to keep the stock shocks but got worried I would be paying "twice" for the install so I dropped the coin to do it right the first time. Seeing my off-roading is a minimum and I just wanted a more aggressive looking runner I went with OME and saved a few hundred over other lift kits. When finished I will post the pics and give a review.

So, i still haven't been able to get a definitive answer on this....

Can ANYONE running this lift please comment on whether or not you replaced your UCA's (upper control arms)?

I've done quite a bit of research on OME stuff for the 2010+ 4Runner and I haven't seen anyone do UCA's.

Here is some of my info.

Info on OME lifts

Lift is in and wheels/tires will be installed Monday (Fuel Throttle 17x9 and 285/70 Nitto Terra).

As far as the lift goes, here is the run down:
I installed 884 springs on the front and 895E on the rear, with Bilstein shocks all around. Wheelers just could not get them in...

Ride is a little stiffer then stock, with less nose drive on braking. It actually feels pretty good.

Stock height was 34.5" front and 36" rear (ground to fender edge).
Now 38" front and 38.5" rear drivers side, passenger side sits a touch higher.

My alignment numbers weren't to bad, seeing I did not do UCA.
Camber is 0.1 both sides, caster is 1.9 / 2.0 (wanted more just not any adjustment left) and toe is .03 / .04 (total toe .07). Steering feels better then stock, so who knows what the numbers were from the factory!

I am sure UCA's would bring the caster numbers into (or better) spec but this will not cause any "strange" tire wear, just maybe not track as well as it could, but to be honest, it feels better then when I drove it off the lot. pics of how it looks now are in my album.

Stay tuned for Monday evening pics and posts!!!

Bilstein 5100's? No lift setting on the Bilstein's?

Also why didn't you go with the OME shocks that are set for these springs?

I wanted to, but waited 2 weeks to receive them but still could not get an answer when they would be in, so the Bilstein's were it. I wanted to make sure the rear shocks had the additional travel from the 2+" lift and they filled the bill. I like the ride and the silver Bilstein look pretty nice compared to the yellow unobtainum nitro shocks. I had to cancel my first appointment and just could not wait any longer for them (may still have been waiting for all I know) If the OME shocks are better then what I have then it's my loss... Just would have a hard time believing it, besides, I actually SAVED $$$ going with the Bilsteins!!! And yes, the fronts are set at the lowest setting, no lift.

Getting mine installed on Monday. 887s on front, 898s on back. Staying with stock 265/70/17 for a few more miles (and until I pay for the lift). I will get some pictures up soon after that.

And the alignment comes with my labor charge.

Done! The ride is very nice, not harsh and not floaty (is that a word?).
Very happy I went with the springs and shocks.

Got it back from the shop, rides a lot nicer than stock, I really enjoy not having it dive every time I come to a stop. It was dark when I got home so I will get pictures up soon.
