Eibach Pro Shocks on all 4 corners. Fronts set at 1.6 with stock springs. Running the Eibach 1" rear springs. Rides great! Sits perfect with 1/2" rake at the fenders. I'm not a fan of spacers, springs are the way to go. This setup doesn't look weird with stock tires either. Eibach actually just released their adjustable rear setup too for $550! First pick is the before photo.

Here is the link to a write-up I did on my Bilsteain shocks with 2.5” front lift and daystar 1.5” rear spacer install. It’s really good info for the install and it has before and after pics and measurements with stock tires. Bilstein 5100 2.5" Front and Daystar 1.5" Rear Spacer Write-up

Are you running stock coils? My 5100s came in and I took it to a shop and the guy said the factory coils are too long, they wouldn't compress enough to fit.. He said they bowed out some. So he wasn't able to put them on.

Sounds like you may want to go to a different shop.
I used stock coils for my front with no issues.

Agreed. You need to go to a different shop. I’ve NEVER heard anyone have this issue. Sounds like they don’t know what they’re doing at all.

I’ve been running the 2.5/1.5 setup for 6 years now. I figured I’d try the 5100s as a first ever lift for me. I had never owned a vehicle like this and I’m still loving it for my use. I’ve been waiting for these shocks to give up so I can further upgrade but damnit, these things keep going and do everything I ask of them well!

That's exactly what I'm doing on my first lift. Just not going as smooth as it should be. Did you have to get UCAs to get the proper alignment since the camber will be off or will a quick alignment correct the camber?
Thank you for all your great information.

I’ve been running stock UCAs with no issue. I’ll have to find my last alignment report but I’m within .2 degrees of spec with most adjustments exactly on point. I’ve had zero issues with odd wear or drive-ability. I’m running 285/70-17 Falken Wildpeak MT01.

Over these past 6 years, I started at .85 being my first lift and of course was hooked to off roading. Went 2.5/1.5 very quickly thereafter. I off-road several times a year. I tow a lot. I use the truck as a truck. I went this route because it was cheap and conservative and again, everything refuses to break or quit. This has easily been the absolute best bang for the buck I’ve ever done on my Runner.

I'll definitely post pictures, then as time goes on I'll report what I experienced. By the way, what step rails are you running?

I’m running NFabs. Antman did a great write up on cutting down the side skirts on the 2010-13s to get these to fit. I added some trim to clean the look of the cut up. Otherwise you’ll have to pull the side skirts and spent like $400 for finishing caps from Toyota. It’s insane. Great steps though...and I’ve never got them caught up on anything while on the trail.

I went ahead and did the 1.75/1 lift. This is going to be my daily driver and I plan on not going mountain climbing in my 2WD lol. Also this is our family vehicle. I really like the feel of it. Ride feels the same even on highway. The nose dive is gone and don't drive like a boat anymore! I haven't gotten it aligned yet but will soon. I plan on getting wheels and tires first. My current tires are creeping on its end of life so I will wait after wheels to get aligned.

Does anyone know a shop that has the Bilstein 5100’s in stock? I can find the rears but every place that I’ve checked shows the fronts on backorder. I’ve heard both November and December dates to get them back in stock.
