Is that out in the Snoqualmie-Mt. Baker forest? I love it out there in the summertime, used to be a couple good shooting holes around exit 38 and Tinkham road, IIRC the eco hippies shut down one (now both?) a couple years back. I used to love going up to Tinkham in the summertime to shoot in the pit and then go explore higher up the mountain when the road got a bit less forgiving; incredible views up there though.

One of my favorite places to go all-time, the scenery in Joshua Tree really is something to be seen, vast open spaces and extremely clear skies at night. We certainly don't get that in the city, stars that is.
Both your trucks look great.

Yup! I took exit 42 and headed into some of the trails the Subaru Outbacks had to stay behind. I used to love driving up Tinkham RD to light off some sounds. Starting 2008 I believe they began shutting each possible shooting area slowly, making us drive further up the trails until it was all completely shutdown. The good old days. WA state has fewer and fewer spots to shoot for us folks who live close to Seattle. Now I have to drive at 90 minutes out if I want to find some outdoor pits.

Johnson Valley, home of the King of the Hammers. Above Soggy Dry Lake, a great spot to have a beer and take in the scenery.
